Beautiful bird! I had the chance to see quite a few kingfishers when I was in Queensland several years ago. Thank you for bringing back that lovely memory with your art! :)

Wonderful drawing! I especially appreciate the details on the feet. I find it really hard to draw all the little scales on bird feet without making it look kind of artificial or over-emphasized. But you did a great job, the feet look natural and realistic! And the rest of the bird looks great too :)

I promise I don't have a foot fetish :sprint:

Thanks. Glad you liked it. And drawing scales is not as hard as it is thought. The important is not to press too hard on the pencil or when in colour not picking a too strong colour.
